It is important to note that disturbing or harming bats, or their roosting areas, is illegal without proper permits or authorization from the appropriate federal or state agencies. If your clients encounter bats or suspect their presence in an area where they are planning construction or other activities, it is important to properly and humanely remove the colony before moving forward.
